The Youth Future Project is the youth movement within our network and operates independently under the patronage of the Right Livelihood Award Foundation. The idea for the Youth Future Project was born out of the ambition to bring young people together with Laureates of the Right Livelihood Award.
In 2010, the first YFP conference with Award Recipients took place in Bonn, Germany, bringing together 120 youths from all over the world with some 30 Laureates of the Right Livelihood Award. A DVD resulted from this conference; you can watch the trailer here.
In 2012, the Visionaries in Action Conference took place in Mannheim, Germany. The YFP has also organised smaller conferences and workshops around the topics that define our future. If you are interested in becoming part of the YFP's network, please see their website for further information.
The 2013 YFP conference will take place from September 1-7 in Bonn, Germany.
