Statement

Gaza: "They are also our children."

51 recipients of the Right Livelihood Award from 34 countries signed a statement in which they condemn the killing of innocent civilians and especially children in Gaza and Israel.

Regional conference for Laureates from Africa & Middle East

For the first time, RLA Laureates from Africa and the Middle East met in Cairo, Egypt during the first week of June. Apart from sharing their experiences and struggles with each other and with the Egyptian civil society, they signed three declarations and a joint statement.

College

New RLC Campus in India

Tata Institute of Social Sciences, located in Mumbai, India, is the seventh campus of the Right Livelihood College. The new campus will be hosted by the Centre for Livelihoods and Social Innovation.

The cooperation will include research initiatives, public lectures and involvement with one of the Institute’s M.A programmes and contribute to its mission and vision "towards creating people-centered development".
