The Right Livelihood Award Foundation offers internships during two periods every year.

THERE ARE NO OPEN POSITIONS AT THIS TIME. Two positions for the fall of 2012 will be announced during the spring.

An internship period normally is 6 months:

• January to mid-July
• Mid-August to Christmas

The exact periods can be discussed.

Interns are an important part of our team. As we are a very small staff, interns get involved in most of the aspects of our work, with a great deal of responsibility. Over the year, there are three kinds of internships:
Research intern (around new proposals), Award intern (working with preparations around the Award ceremony) and Communications intern (working with the website, Facebook, media, film etc).

Qualifications:

University studies (ongoing or finished)
Languages: Excellent oral and written English
                   Swedish, German, French and/or Spanish is an advantage

The intern will receive a taxable salary equivalent to what a Swedish student will receive as financial aid/loan.
